Trueflow Surveys is a company specialising in carrying out independent audits of flow measurement installations for the water industry in the UK. We are also able to undertake specialist flow monitoring and effluent sampling surveys providing reliable design data for treatment works design and improvement. We have no commercial links with any flow measurement instrumentation manufacturers and can therefore offer a totally independent service, providing the most cost effective solution to your flow measurement needs.

Trueflow was one of the first companies to be awarded MCERTS certification by the Environment Agency to undertake independent audits of effluent flow measurement installations. The certification covers both open channel and closed pipe systems. We have carried out in excess of 650 audits of flow measurement installations to date, covering sewage, trade effluent and river and stream measurement sites. Trueflow have been appointed as the sole framework provider of auditing services for United Utilities Operational Services Welsh Region and completed over 300 MCERTS audits before the qualifying date of the end of March 2005 to ensure that the project was completed on target.

In addition to full MCERTS audits, we offer a site survey option which allows existing or proposed systems to be surveyed to identify improvements that may be required to bring the installation up to the MCERTS standard. It is essential that sites are assessed for the full range of requirements covered by the audit manual, including details such as measurement location, accuracy, installation, calibration and ongoing maintenance procedures, together with efficient and effective data collection and handling.
