Meter Calibrations

Under the MCERTS scheme, the requirement for maintenance and ongoing meter verification is detailed in the Quality Management system (QMS) that is audited by SIRA Environmental as a part of the MCERTS certification.  The importance of regular meter verification should not be underestimated as measurement errors can lead to unnecessary effluent charges or even result in flow rates appearing to exceed the consent or permit.

Most QMS procedures require a meter check/calibration to be carried out on an annual basis.  Trueflow can provide a regular visit for all open channel or closed pipe installations to provide on site calibration to confirm the measurement accuracy.
